The Guideline for the application of EN 12972 (Tanks for
transport of dangerous goods - Testing, inspection and
marking of metallic tanks) for compliance with

In order to comply with the requirements of ADR, EN 12972:2007 referenced in
6.8.2.6.2 of ADR needs to be applied together with the requirements of ADR in 1.1.5.
EN 12972:2018 has been published and it has been decided that this standard will be
referenced in the 2021 edition of ADR.
